Hancock Grade 1
Monday, September 10
10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
The very first group to visit the William Brish Planetarium in the 2012-2013 school year, the 1st graders from Hancock Elementary participated in STAR STORIES! Cowboy Headley helped them to learn that there are pictures in the sky made of stars called constellations, and that there are ancient stories we call myths that the Greeks used to explain why those pictures were located in the night sky.
Ms. Parks and Ms. McDonald's classes did an amazing job bringing these stories to life through their outstanding acting performances! Here are a few shots of their students in action!
