Finding Your Way Around Earth and Sky
The fifth graders from Eastern came to the planetarium today to participate in the program Finding Your Way Around Earth and Sky. They learned about latitude and longitude and how the rotation of the earth and its revolution around the sun affect what we see up in the sky. Here are a few pictures from their trip!
Astronomers Of The Day
At the end of the visit each teacher chose their Astronomer of the Day. These students exhibited the participation, listening and questioning skills needed to make a great astronomer! Congratulations to our Astronomers of the Day!
